GCU LIVE LESSONS AT CHSRC
for high school students
Covenant Home School Resource Center and Grand Canyon University are working together to provide homeschool high school students with FREE LIVE Lessons at our CHSRC location. As an added bonus, GCU will also be providing lunch to all registered students immediately before or after the start of the class (check schedule below).
These LIVE Lessons are a cutting-edge chance for students to take part in a 45-minute interactive experience that builds skills in a field of interest. New options are added each month. Space is limited so register early.

Finance and Economics: Financial Understanding for Personal Success

Developing a solid understanding of financial literacy and how it directly affects our wellbeing is vital in helping to understand the world around us. All organizations and individuals make daily decisions that are focused on money. These team activities give students an opportunity to explore world economies and how they influence their citizens and economic status. Students will also gain an understanding of the importance of education in relation to career earnings.
Forensic Science

In this exciting lesson, students will analyze evidence from a mock crime scene. Throughout the lesson students evaluate different types of forensic evidence, perform comparisons and generate scientifically sound conclusions.

The U.S. is becoming more multicultural than ever. People who can speak to and write for an audience of non-English speakers can find work in just about any field. GCU’s Spanish LIVE Lesson will provide students with an in-depth look at possible career options. In addition, students will learn the amazing benefits of having a bilingual brain.
