Home Education with an Arizona Empowerment Scholarship Account

You Can Educate Your Child at Home!

Arizona law allows families, who choose an Empowerment Scholarship Account (ESA), to educate their children at home (A.R.S. §15-2402.) However, they are considered ESA contract students and therefore do not fall under the Arizona homeschool laws (A.R.S. §15-802.) If you have an ESA for your child, you are NOT required to file a homeschool affidavit.

The ESA program is administered by the Arizona Department of Education.  Please visit their website if you are interested in this program and would like to apply.
