This resource guide began as a student project within a junior high co-op back in 1995. The goal was to produce a directory 
that would have local and national resources listed in a user-friendly format, which kept pace with the quickly changing 
homeschool landscape. Originally, the directory was updated in the hard copy quarterly, and over 6000 copies have been 
distributed.

With the internet becoming a household tool, we moved into the computer age with an online resource guide in 2003. This 
was incorporated into the website for Covenant Home School Resource Center.  Recently, we have added an online 
homeschool magazine to the website, The Modern Homeschooler E-Zine, and have included the directory in that portion 
as well. The hard copy is now updated annually, and the websites are refreshed quarterly, providing an even easier medium 
for keeping information current.
